RESUMO

Las manifestaciones sexuales de los residentes de centros geriátricos de larga duración no suelen tenerse en cuenta e incluso son desalentadas por el personal asistencial. El objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una revisión sistemática sobre las actitudes, los conocimientos y las percepciones del personal asistencial sobre dichas manifestaciones sexuales. Tras la consulta en distintas bases de datos, 10 artículos científicos publicados entre 2012 y 2022 cumplieron los criterios de inclusión para formar parte de dicha revisión. Este trabajo ha permitido conocer y estructurar la insuficiente literatura científica referida a esta área concreta de la sexualidad en adultos mayores. Se concluye que existe escasa literatura científica y que las áreas revisadas son determinantes en el cuidado diario de adultos mayores institucionalizados. Ampliar en este campo de estudio permitirá crear programas de formación y afrontamiento de las conductas sexuales de los mayores institucionalizados por parte del personal asistencial. (AU)

Resumen Esta investigación pretende conocer las relaciones entre las competencias sociales y la calidad de vida (CdV) de los adolescentes nativos e inmigrantes de España y Portugal, para analizar la importancia que tienen estas variables en el desarrollo ajustado adolescente. Para ello, se evaluaron 1151 adolescentes, con edades entre los 12 y 18 años, a través de dos cuestionarios: el KIDSCREEN-52 y Social Skills Rating System (SSRS). Los resultados señalan que los inmigrantes presentan un índice de CdV menor que los nativos en las dimensiones de bienestar psicológico, relación con los padres, recursos económicos y aceptación social. El rendimiento académico correlaciona con las dimensiones de CdV y con las competencias sociales, aunque existen diferencias entre los adolescentes nativos e inmigrantes.


Abstract This research aims to determine the relationship between social skills and quality of life (QoL) in native and immigrant adolescents of Spain and Portugal, in order to understand the importance of these variables in the adolescents' development and adjustment. In order to accomplish this, 1151 adolescents, aged between 12 and 18 years, were assessed through two questionnaires: the KIDSCREEN-52 and the Social Skills Rating System (SSRS). The results indicate that immigrants have a lower QoL index than natives in the dimensions of feelings, relationship with parents, economic resources and social acceptance. Academic performance correlates with the dimensions of QoL and social skills, although there are differences between natives and immigrant adolescents.

BACKGROUND: One of the scales most used to measure quickly and easily eHealth Literacy is the eHealth Literacy Scale (eHEALS); however, there was no validation of this scale in Spanish. Therefore, the aim of this study was to adapt and validate the eHealth Literacy Scale (eHEALS) to the Spanish context. METHODS: Spanish translation of the scale eHEALS was administered along with other scales to measure some indicators of psychological well-being (self-esteem, subjective vitality and life satisfaction). A sample of 447 university students aged between 18 and 45 years was selected. An exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, analysis of invariance, reliability, temporal stability and bivariate correlations were performed. RESULTS: Exploratory factor analysis revealed a monofactorial structure that explained 52.55% of variance, with high factor loadings of the items. Reliability of 0.87 and test-retest correlation of 0.78 was obtained. The confirmatory factor analysis showed appropriate adjustments indices: χ2=66.60; p=0.00; χ2/ df=4.44; comparative fit index=0.97; incremental fit index=0.97; tucker lewis index=0.94; root mean square of approximattion =0.08; standardized root mean square residual=0.05. The questionnaire was invariant by gender. Regarding the criterion validity, a statistically significant and positive correlations between 0.12 and 0.16 with three indicators of psychological wellbeing was obtained (self-esteem, subjective vitality and life satisfaction). CONCLUSIONS: The spanish version of the eHEALS tested in this work has shown to be a valid and reliable scale to measure eHealth competence in university students.

Fundamento: Una de las escalas más empleadas para medir de forma rápida y sencilla la competencia en eSalud es la eHealth Literacy Scale (eHEALS), sin embargo, no existe su validación en castellano. Por ello, el objetivo de este estudio fue adaptar y validar al contexto español la escala eHEALS. Métodos: Se administró la traducción al español de la escala eHEALS, junto a otras escalas para medir algunos indicadores del bienestar psicológico (autoestima, vitalidad subjetiva y satisfacción con la vida). Se utilizó una muestra de 447 estudiantes universitarios de edades entre los 18 y los 45 años. Se realizó un análisis factorial exploratorio, un análisis factorial confirmatorio, análisis de invarianza, de fiabilidad, de estabilidad temporal y de correlaciones bivariadas. Resultados: El análisis factorial exploratorio mostró una estructura monofactorial que explicó el 52,55% de la varianza, con elevados pesos factoriales de sus ítems. Se obtuvo una fiabilidad de 0,87 y una correlación test-retest de 0,78. El análisis factorial confirmatorio mostró unos índices de ajustes adecuados: χ2 = 66,60; p=0,00; χ2/gl=4,44; índice de ajuste comparativo =0,97); índice de ajuste incremental =0,97; índice tucker-lewis =0,94; error de aproximación cuadrático medio=0,08; residuo cuadrático medio estandarizado=0,05. No hubo diferencias por sexo. En cuanto a la validez de criterio, se obtuvieron correlaciones estadísticamente significativas y positivas e entre 0,12 y 0,16 con tres indicadores del bienestar psicológico (autoestima, vitalidad subjetiva y satisfacción con la vida). Conclusiones: La versión española de la eHEALS testada ha mostrado ser una escala válida y fiable para medir la competencia en eSalud en el alumnado universitario (AU)

RESUMO

El objetivo de este trabajo fue desarrollar una escala válida y fiable para evaluar la percepción de las fortalezas fundamentales de un centro educativo desde el punto de vista del profesorado. Aunque existen diversos instrumentos para evaluar el clima y la cultura escolar, pretendíamos desarrollar un instrumento que además permitiera evluar otras variables representativas del buen funcinamiento de un centro educativo que se relacionan una buena labor y acción educativa y la promoción del desarrollo positivo adolescente. Para ello, en primer lugar se creó una escala fue administrada para el analisis de sus propiedades psicometricas a una muestra constituida por 336 profesores/as (49,7% Hombres y 50,3% Mujeres) con edades comprendidas entre los 25 y los63 años (M=41.5, DT=9.47), qu trabajaban en centros públicos y privados de educación secundaria en Andalucia Occidental. Los resultados obtenidos han permitido avalar la adecuación de las propiedades psicométricas de la escala construida y la de los procesos de centro revelantes desde la perspectica del profesorado. Queda en manos de futuras investigaciones comprobar la validez externa y predictiva del instrumento(AU)


The aim of this study was to develop a valid and reliable scale to assess the perception of the fundamental strengths of a school from the point of view of teachers. Although there are several tools to assess the school climate and culture, we wanted to develop a tool that would allow evluar other variables besides representing a funcinamiento good school that relate a good job and educational activities and the promotion of positive adolescent development. To do this, we first created a scale was administered to the analysis of its psychometric properties in a sample of 336 teachers / as (49.7% male and 50.3% female) aged between 25 and los63 years (M = 41.5, SD = 9.47), what worked in public and private secondary schools in Western Andalucia. The results obtained allowed endorse the suitability of the psychometric properties of the scale constructed and processes from the perspectica revelantes center teacher. It remains for future research and external pre predictive instrument(AU)

RESUMO

En el presente artículo se exponen los resultados y conclusiones de un programa de prevención sobre la violencia de género, llevado a cabo con adolescentes, en un Centro de Educación Secundaria. El programa estaba diseñado para conseguir cambios en las actitudes individuales, los conocimientos y las habilidades de los estudiantes, con los objetivos de lograr eliminar los mitos e ideas erróneas subyacentes al fenómeno de la violencia de género, así como capacitar al alumnado para detectar y reconocer el maltrato físico, psicológico y sexual. Dados los objetivos del programa se decidió la utilización de técnicas en las que intervienen activamente todo el grupo clase, entre ellas el análisis de documentos y películas, la técnica del Grupo de Discusión y el debate grupal. En este estudio, se presenta el proceso de desarrollo del programa, los resultados más destacados de la experiencia, así como las conclusiones a las que se llegaron


The following paper exposes the results and conclusions of a prevention program about dating violence, carried out with teenagers, in high schools. The program was designed to produce changes in individual attitudes, knowledge and skills of the students, with the objective of being able to eliminate the myths and wrong ideas underlying gender violence, as well as to enable the students to detect and to recognize physical, psychological and sexual abuse. In accordance with the program objectives we decided to use techniques in which all the class group participated, such as analysis of documents and movies, Focus Groups technique and debates. This work presents the development process of the program, the most representative results of the experience and the final conclusions
